My name is Bella Bond and I’m a non-binary, fat, queer, film photographer—currently based in Berkeley, CA.

As a documentary-style photographer, my loved ones and my travels greatly influence the way I capture the world around me. Not only am I passionate about documenting my little world, but I’m also passionate about documenting the communities I come from. Queer, trans, fat and/or BIPOC folks are intentionally at the core of my work as I want to photograph them full of the love and light that the media so often forgets. I strive to create an environment where folks show up wholly, without performance, gravitating towards softness and genuine expression.

I take pride in centering the folks closest to me and documenting my unique prospective. I value intimacy, authenticity, and representation— I will continue to center those in my work.
